Hard Case Co was established 15 years ago and specialised in the manufacture of custom made transit cases and crime scene stepping plates.John Ward purchased the business in 2000. it has diversified into light engineering and sheetmetal fabrication.

John's background is in welding and fabrication and his interests in kit cars and motorsports have combined to enable the business to offer a full range of fabrication services from components to full car builds.

Having built several cars for himself and others, and involved in working on circuit cars and speedway midgets for over 35 years, he is very experienced in the field of motorsport fabrication.

John is a member of the Sports Car Club of NZ and the Constructors Car Club, and represents the SCCNZ on the Low Volume Vehicle Technical Association. Currently he is racing his own Escort RS2000 Mk1 in the AES Series.
